kausap ko si nicai at naisipan naming mag-blog.
*JADED LABYRINTH*
nicai: life can sometimes be a game of cat and mouse...
hya: I AGREE! SURELY!
nicai: if suddenly the mouse finds himself trapped in a corner somewhere, his first instinct is to
look back and contemplate if he made a wrong turn.
hya: oh well, you have a point... so, WHERE'S THE CHEESE???
nicai: well, at least his untimely demise would serve as a lesson for other mice to always decide critically before heading towards a dark alley... that is, if the mice are endowed with the needed brain capacity for the slightest bit of critical thinking. we humans, however, are lucky enough to be part of a race that could look back and not repeat whatever damage are ancestors have done. but why does it seem like we're making the same mistake over and over?
hya: maybe it's just cause we're used to those mistakes. i mean, even if we know we do the wrong stuff over and over, we do it cause we don't see any serious harm done.
nicai: or maybe because... well, take me for example. being the pompous perfectionist that i am, i don't like being wrong nor admitting that i am wrong in the first place.
hya: aaaah... i see... reminds me of that time when... [well i won't be going on too specific ok?]
i had the opportunity to *blah blah blah*... i dunno why but i just didn't do what i really wanted to... the chance was there and all i had to do was grab it. but fear overcame me so everything was a waste... let's not talk about it now shall we?
nicai: that's so sad...
hya: how about you? i know you've got something to say...
nicai: a few months ago, i was planning to run for the TSC election and everybody was a hundred percent behind my back. i had great plans for the school and even if i was good at leading and all that, i can't... because of one tiny mistake i made a few months before the election. a mistake that was, mind you, not even intentional in the first place. i guess everybody has heard of the story anyway so why bother telling it again. i don't feel less of a person because of that incident and i don't really consider not running for the election a loss. however, there is that 'what if' factor. what if i had, would my life be entirely different. well i guess not, but it pisses me off sometimes.
hya: oh well [for the last time], we're free, restless, young and stupid [most of the time]. well at least that gives us permission to be wrong... right?
